THE ROLLING STONES' "Blue & Lonesome" the Originals

Rolling-Stones-originals-1.jpgWhen the ROLLING STONES first recorded the music of Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed and a host of other bluesmen from 1963 to 1965, they exposed a host of American musical treasures to an American audience that barely knew of these artists’ existence. Half a century later, the ROLLING STONES are set to repeat that dynamic. December will see the release of the Stones’ “Blue & Lonesome” album, a salute to their blues heroes, recorded over a three day period and capturing the spontaneity of a bunch of friends playing the music they love.
